CRASA is a Non-profit, Non-Religious Organization, registered at Indian Societies Registration act XXI of 1860 with the Registration No.168 of 1998

History :

CRASA is initiated by the 9 self motivated volunteers, who responded to the cyclone relief in 1998. After completion of relief initiatives they have asses their services and what extent they got satisfaction in helping the neighbors. With that motto to help more needy and deserving sections the organization was initiated in December 1998. crasa facilitate to empowerment of Socio-economic under privileged communities by organizing and capacitating them for their fullest development

Vision :

CRASA visualize a just, peaceful, equity, justice, society which respects human dignity, rights, gender equality and it envisages a society where the poor and marginalized and under privileged have equal opportunity for their development. Which is a value based and sustainable with a healthy environment.

Mission :

CRASA actively supports and works towards a just and peace society by creating a meaningful space to work towards promotion of capacities for people organizations and institutions in development process which involve networking of the organizations at various levels. CRASA also response to human suffering and distress caused by natural or man made disasters. CRASA strives to optimize to all potential, friendship, cooperation, interaction with reference communities and partner organizations.

Objectives

• Strengthening of community based organizations
• Child labour - Identifying working children, rehabilitating and mainstreaming them in to regular schools
• Vocational training and education - Providing training in employability skills to adolescents
• Women empowerment - Empowering women through training and financial aid through financial institutions for the creation of small business and income generation activities
• Livelihood promotion - Helping deprived communities providing business loans for women and men through financial institutions creating micro entrepreneurships
• Health - Organizing health check camps and educating on health and hygiene issues, including HIV/AIDS prevention
• Sustainable farming and land development - Training marginal farmers in sustainable agriculture and supporting reforestation
• Disaster relief - Providing immediate attention and help to areas affected by natural and other disasters
• Environment - creating environmental awareness and disaster preparedness for vulnerable groups

Area Of Operation:

CRASA is being Working in 90 villages in coastal of 3 coastal districts Krishna, west Godavari Guntur , Andhra Pradesh, INDIA.

Target People:

Women, Children, Adolescents, Youth, Disables and senior citizens.

Focus Areas:

Education, Health, Rights perspectives, Care and Support for People Living with HIV/AIDS, disables care and Home for orphans &aged people.
